Hoki Poke is seeking 2 experienced cooks.

Wage: $950 per week (4 days a week, 10-11 hours a day)

Term of Employment: Permanent, full-time (42 hours per week)

Address: 563 Yonge Street, Unit #101, Toronto, Ontario M4Y 1Z2


  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods

  • Prepare Hawaiian traditional poke bowls

  • Prepare sashimi, vegetables and meats

  • Make authentic Korean and Japanese sauces for the menu

  • Order supplies and equipment

  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment

  • Clean kitchen and work areas

  • Manage kitchen operations

  • Prepare and cook signature dishes in the menu such as sashimi, poke bowl, sushi burrito, etc.


Languages: English

Completion of high school

1+ year of Korean, Japanese and/or Hawaiian cooking experience

Personal Suitability: Team player; attentive to detail

Working Conditions

Physically demanding; standing for extended periods; tight deadlines; attention to detail; fast-paced environment; handling heavy loads; repetitive tasks
